Leave Your Mark

Designer Teruhiro Yanagihara exhibits his new “Graffiti” products exploring the concept of “dirty”; a sofa that retains the marks when scratched. Not only may people leave their marks/memories on the surface of the sofa but may also erase them by ironing the cloth.

I like the idea.

I wonder, though, is it resistant enough so that you only leave intentional scratches?

Or do your jeans leave scratch marks too.

It would be nice to know that the only marks left were intentional, and that they would
not be disturbed by normal use.

Good idea though - and nice couch
