Italian Speed Racer

Ok, we realize this is the second auto post in as many days, but this story was too good to let go by unnoticed. It seems unbelievable, but what you are looking at is a concept design introduced by Italian auto dreamers SpadaConcept. The unbelievable part is that it has just been announced this very non-traditional design is actually going into production. I wont bore you with such mind blowing performance details as a zero to 60 mph time of 2.7 seconds, or the fact that this dream machine will sell for around $400,000 US. What I will ask you to notice is the set of balls these designers must posses. Check out the airplane inspired tail, the glass canopy and flush headlights. This thing makes Speed Racer look like a Honda Civic.

Anyone notice the speedometer and tach. on the rear end?
Letting others know just how fast they’re being passed.

It is nice but looks a bit weird at the bottom. I like a lot the front of the car. Is really agressive.

0-60 in 2.7 second is awesome. Design is really good and innovative. From back it looks like a boat. I think it is a computer 3D image. Reflection seems like it is a car of marble or glass. However, again really good piece of work from Italy.

Every static car image you see on a daily basis is a 3D image.

Every commercial you see with cars on a solid color background (even with saleman walking around), 3D model.
Every image on a website with a car not in a real time / real life background, 3D model.
Most car ads in magazines are 3D models.

etc etc

wild stuff

Actually, automakers tend to use real pictures. The real car gives a much more accurate representation. Photoshop makes ‘em look nice…

yeah you are right… the thing is that it has been showed at the TopmarquesMonaco Show…and that was not a 3d rendering… image at http://www.aznom.it/prodotti/codatronca/amenities.html

Have a look!
