Actually, I just realized that the aerodynamics of this thing are terrible. The post-it would pop out and then flutter straight to the ground, it wouldn’t move in a straight line.

There is nothing wrong with having fun with a project, just realize you and your company is in it to make money. There are many other clever ways to dispense post ups, without unnecessary over the top gadgets.

It should be possible to write on the post-it while still in gun and then use the thing to stick it somewhere.
And maybe have a rapid fire mode to plaster a wall with the little yellow buggers.

I can see them selling these on Thinkgeek for the completely non-practical enjoyment of cubicle workers.
