You’ve got ‘form follows function’, you’ve got ‘function follows form’, and then you’ve got the Concrete Pod that follows nothing! Designed completely from artistic sensibilities, these concrete seating structures look incredibly organic, almost like nature has weathered it down. The hollow design allows flora to grow within and around it, fulfilling the designer’s aim to make furniture that completely blends into its surroundings. That… is the future of furniture design.
