Cooking by the Milliliter
The Scale Gas Range integrates a weighing scale within the framework of the cooking range. The idea behind the concept to save your meals from getting burnt! Each recipe has a particular weight when it starts to cook, eventually as the moisture evaporates and the gravy thickens, the weight drops. At this time, if we get distracted with other chores, our dish is sure to burn. To avoid this, after a certain drop in weight, the burner automatically turns off, thus saving the chances of a burnt meal. I think it is a clever idea, especially if you are a new cook!

Cool idea. Was 30% chosen as an arbitrary weight, or is this number substantiated?

i highly agree with Tim. I think that weight is variable depending on what you’re cooking and the moisture content of different foods. however, why not opt for induction instead???

What happens when I pick up my frying pan to flip something? Do all my burners turn off?
