Hair Trapping
My mother has this really annoying habit of washing her hair in the kitchen sink. She says it’s a quick-fix when you’re running out of time… I call it being lazy. The downside is that hair usually clogs up the sink and cleaning the sink stopper is plain yuk! I guess it’s for this reason that I love the Crown Pop-up sink stopper idea; the exposed top end stays clean while the root-ish tail end catches the hair and goop. I so need this!

Perhaps, If we use it, it would be inconvenient to pluck hair. but, I think this product is more useful and easier than other existing.

Some Japanese people using this kind of product. http://www.kobayashi.co.jp/seihin/kap/index.html
But it seems to be made of petroleum-based plastic.
IMO, it should be made of recycled paper or degradable plastics etc.

Where would a person buy this?

Given d form of the product, strands will surely get entangled on the rubber base. Taking hair out from this will not only be a task in itself but will be much more yuk.

For me, surely better than disassemble all the sink device…

nice concept, but if you have tried to pluck hair from a round comb which is a very similar form….you will know how harder it is to remove the hair

You get a pair of scissors and cut up the sides and pick it off

I need something li,e this for a bathtub drain. Tub drains have a metal crisscross that inhibits this design. I would buy these products if they worked.
