They can’t be bothered with things like - a tire pressure gauge. So John Wrighton went and developed the Digital Valve Cap - a cap with a digital readout of the current tire pressure. It’s powered by a small cell battery and activated when you press the cap.
Ask anybody and you’re bound to get varying opinions on tan lines. I myself don’t have a problem with it, unless it’s that weird arm one. For some reason that irks me. The next time you tan, why not grab a Sun Tattoo and put those UV rays into good use.
This design revolves around the charger unit. The eye-catching opening in the middle fulfils two functions: storing the phone and charging it. On the one hand, ETNA fits onto an adapter which is plugged directly into an electrical socket: the phone is charged via induction and an illuminated, colour-coded ring on the charger adapter shows the respective charging status.
The very engaging and ingenious Swede Peter Andersson has built up a worldwide reputation for creating pieces with a humorous twist. “A smile is the best feedback I can get for my work”, he says. An aspiration that no one could argue with. But this piece deserves more profound appreciation still. On first inspection, it appears like a perfectly functional easy chair - impeccably handcrafted in Tarsjo leather. But look a little further and its true excitement and originally is revealed.

BasicKnives reinterprets one of our most basic kitchen tools, the knife. The set of knives makes other kitchen tool redundant by incorporating different (cutting)-actions within the un-used surfaces of the blades.

Sometimes you need an extra chair and sometimes you need a table. These modern chairs can be either or depending on your needs. By simply pushing the two chairs together they transform into a table. Each chair has a notch to slide in one another. Now unused seating has some other place to go. When you’ve got visitors and need an extra chair or two you simply pull them apart. Tada, you got two chairs! This needs to show up at IKEA stat!

Taking advantage of gravitational pull, the device easily weighs a load on a cleverly designed rocker. Goods up to 2 kg are precisely weighed by shifting a weight.

For those of us that don’t have automatic climate controls in our cars, the Psychro-ray is just the ticket. The solar powered device comes equipped with a bevy of sensors to detect when hot is just too hot for you; said driver. The unit automatically cools the interior cabin and purifies the air with its carbon filtration system and electrostatic dust collector. So where can you get one? Ya can’t. It’s just a concept for now but a tasty one at that.

In South East Asia, gemstones not only mean wealth but also prosperity. Of course not everyone can afford a real diamond so Trimode Studio designed a very cool looking ottomon shaped like a diamond. This gives a sense of well being and preciousness to something that will mostly serve to rest people’s bums on.
