A Playable Table

Impression

Your friend walks into your home. You ask him (or her, I’m not a sexist) if he/she’s up for a game. What do you have? They ask, assuming you’re talking about Monopoly or Jenga or Cards against Humanity. You reply “How about Foosball?”. You can see them respect you a little bit more. Then you perform your double whammy, “Or we could play Air-Hockey… Snooker even.” That’s it. You’re officially the most popular person in your social circle; and you have the Ludi Table to thank for that.

The Ludi Table is an interactive table-computer, much like the Microsoft PixelSense, but built mainly for gaming. Its massive screen provides you with a catalog of tabletop arcade gaming experiences, and it even comes with peripherals that allow you to play the game the way it’s meant to be played. It sure feels like 2016 has arrived, doesn’t it? 😀
