Mozart Of Lights

So you can’t be a conductor of any musical symphony nor do you have any creativity in painting and art. Tough luck, but what if I gave you this magical wand, that allowed you to transform your ceiling into a magical landscape of color LEDs, that brighten up and dim at the flick of your wrist, wouldn’t you be the Mozart of lights? Draw The Lights makes you a capable light conductor! What I mean is that clusters of LEDs take command from this “light brush” in your hand, and sparkle to create mesmerizing ambient settings. If creativity gets the better of you, how about creating artwork with the lights? Fancy!

Both fancy and feasible. It’s nice!

Cool concept but wouldn’t that be a bit dim? LED light isn’t quite the same as the incandescent and fluorescent light we are all used to

    • Reki says:

Actually, LEDs can still be more powerful than the beforementioned lights.

this has real world applications. Metaphorically speaking of course. Copernicus put it well when he said: “hath a man time to waste? Go forth and conquer the world”. This forms a longing for a simpler time when calling to mind the electrical current of raybum’s design was relegated to mishapen roundness. Theortetically this proves relativity has a place in multi-dimensional realms where mathematics can only relegate light to a formal occurance of light theory or its bi-product. this has limph-na-odidness written all over it.

I do not see a mass market for this, for it would be costly to accomplish and artistic expression can be achieved many other more enjoyable ways.

Love this idea. Things I would like to see would be the ability to connect to it via pc, save/modify/upload patterns, and possibly cycle patterns.

As long as you could turn the lights on or off en masse and clear all the patterns at will, this actually seems like a pretty neat idea. LED lights are bright and efficient, and anyone who's ever owned a LiteBrite can attest to how addicting it can be to play with this kind of thing. Provided on the materials used and optional coverage size, cost shouldn't be too much of a problem either, I don't think…. so long as you weren't planning on covering your entire ceiling.

The design centre suggests its students studying and preparing

the bigger impact it will have on its unique presentation.
