The Ring Of Security

Having to manually minimize windows before you leave your computer is taxing. Yes it only takes a few seconds to do but we live in a time of NOW NOW NOW. There must be an easier way.

The Security Ring slips over your finger and looks mighty snazzy too. The base stays next to your computer. When you move more than a user set distance away from it, the computer locks down. Go to the restroom knowing prying eyes will be kept away from your secret stash of non work related websites.

Let us hope the software is better that the other similar “walk away” computer locking devices… I have had nothing but trouble with similar devices.. because it is a third part lock.. not done via the OS.

Hey hey hey.. thats a big nono on my corporate machine running windooze 2000 anyways… CTRL+ALT+DEL and then ENTER is the key… which makes it like hem 4 keys to press… I would love that ring! I’m tired of getting yelled at by the IT apt for not locking down my PC while taking a wizz :)

I still think that the previous way to lock my PC is easier and faster.
