Book Of Light by Takeshi Ishiguro

Isn’t this neat We think so and love this extremely unique concept. You’ll really surprise everyone with this beautifully innocent book. The book of lights pop up protagonist emits a tabletop warming glow. A wonderfully crafted and cleverly folded lamp springs to life from the hardy white pages of the bound book, powered by a simple low voltage adapter. Finally a coffee table book that you’ll actually open.

their is an idiom “挑灯夜读”(chinese ) in china, I don’t know if the designer who design this new concept light know the that idiom, its mean is that in remote antiquity some one who is very very industrious always lighted wax candle to study.
IN my eyes ,this design is nice to explain that idiom in chinese.
