After experiencing the red dot product design gala and meeting such high profile designers, I’ve come to the conclusion that designing is all about how you chart your course encompassing form, function and reality. So hat’s off to all you designers, please take a bow!

2012 Taiwan International Student Design Competition – Amazing Prizes to be Won!

One of the good things about participating in competitions is that you get to challenge yourself and push yourself to the limits. Like Yves Behar told me when I spoke with him, “winning awards and competitions is like an icing on the cake called hard work.” He should know better, he and fuseproject have won so many of them! For now, we have one big opportunity coming up with the 2012 Taiwan International Student Design Competition. Electrolux Design Lab 2012 – Design Experience

You can call it the Scandinavian influence or sheer creative genius, but you have to hand to the Electrolux team to come up with such a catchy video that communicates this year’s Design Lab brief with such finesse! The theme for 2012 is to Design Experience! Inspired by the Electrolux Cube experience, Design Lab wants designers to conceptualize appliances that provide a “fuller sensory experience.” Watch this exclusive video that Premiers here on Yanko Design, be inspired and submit your entries latest by June 1st.
