Top 32 Favorites From 2013 iF Design Award

I had the privilege of being one of the 1900 guests who celebrated the prize winners of the iF design awards, in a lavish ceremony held at the BMW World in Munich. Using the Munich Creative Business Week as the backdrop was probably one of the cleverest things, because as design enthusiasts, we had access to some of the most inspiring workshops and exhibitions. Team YD met up with creative minds from across the globe and came home enriched by the experience. Here is our pick of Top 32 Favorite product design winners from the 2013 iF design awards.

The idea is king for Electrolux Design Lab 2013 and the competition opens for submissions on 18th February. The theme for this year is Inspired Urban Living and the focus of which falls into three key areas; Social Cooking, Natural Air and Effortless Cleaning.

Slim And Loving It!

One of the perks at being with Yanko Design is that our editors get to travel a lot. For Essen (the red dot gala), Troy + his gadgets come in from the US and I bring my stuff from India. The common problem we both have is – Plugs! Charging our equipment was an issue easily solved by bringing along a charging adaptor, however their bulk and low quality soon became a concern.
