Love Pot is HOT!
A brilliant design with good intentions is always a winner. For the design part, Love Pot is a non-electric humidifier plus aroma dispenser. It has this tissue ball made from laminated wool felt to maximize evaporation in limited volume. Another point in favor of the wool felt is that it absorbs water fast, and launders well. For the intentions part: this $30 pot is for the Nanum project, where 100% of the profits go as charity to provide educational scholarships to impoverished children. That’s what I call Design with a Conscious!

Ok, beautiful, but how does it dissipate the moisture and fragrance?
Chrispy says
@victor : i would imagine it would dispense fragrance through capillary action, however i don’t know how it would at the same time dissipate moisture, its kind of a catch 22 deal where its removing moisture while at the same time releasing moisture through the fragrance’s fluid.
it would have to be a double walled device where the inner wall is the fragrance fluid and the outer wall is filled with silica to absorb like those damprid bags

Silica is actually used to dehumidify, and this design is about humidifying, am I not right?
It could dissipate humidity through evaporation, but it wouldn’t be enough. In a small room, to make it more humid, you can use a simple basin with water, I’ve done it… but it will take much more than a glass. This design just can’t hold enough to humidify a room. It will work to dissipate fragrance, but that’s it.

Would you mind explaining where to put the fragrance, when to clean, how much moisture it can hold? Thanks!

I am fairly sure that the base is a container that holds perfumed water which is wicked up through the laminated wool ball on top.
@Chrispy, I haven’t heard of anyone putting silica in a humidifier. Is there a device that passively maintains a constant room humidity out there? Could ou point it out because I would be very interested in such a thing.
I am pretty sure I saw these on TV in Korea a few months aog.

It is a simple nice design in appearance!
But one question,
Is it non-electric? i wonder how it works?
Vinaykya Rajesh says
few questions-
how long does thi last?
does it have any refills?
what is the packaging?
The best is that money goes to charity upon sale of this product.
last question – where to buy from?
