Compose Music All High Tech Like
Have you ever caught yourself whistling a made up tune and thought to yourself, “hey this could be a hit song!” Those moments of inspiration are fleeting but with the Compose concept, you can compose anywhere.
The pen acts as a mic you sing into. When docked into the digital paper tablet, your vocal harmonies are automatically transcribed into a score. For the old schooler, you can write directly on the display. It also contains libraries for an entire orchestra so once your composition is finished, just sit back and enjoy.

Nice one, but I think I’ll be interested only in the software, not the hardware part – even if it’s sleek looking.

Zomg WANT. As a singer with bugger all skills on guitar but a million ideas in my head, that would be fantastic so I could just give it to a guitarist and say ‘play’ or even hash it out easier on my keyboard.

I love the concept! I cannot read music, but I am in an acapella barbershop chorus. Do you think it could work the other way and play the notes that is on a sheet of paper? I would love to be able to practice at home without having to make someone sing into my voice recorder!

For the Designers on this:
1. I notice currently what is on the music score is either photo-paper, or just a whiteboard (since this is currently just a concept).
This concept, when finalized, is it going to work on a paper type thing, where consumers just insert sheets? Or is it going to be like the iPod touch?
2. Either way, this product, for convenience, if at all possible and ever was able to connect to a computer, should be able to connect with the PC and MAC. (I stress the MAC part).
3. I’m assuming there will be a headset/earphone plug-in component. (???)
4. Will “Compose” only be able to compute one set of a Treble and Bass clef? (This isn’t a complaint, this is actually a good thing).
If so, then please have some sort of reset button on the your product (if it is to be put into action), as it may disrupt the ..computer.. inside that runs it.
5. If I played just the guitar or the piano with “Compose,” will it write the full chords that I’m playing?
Thanks,
-bob

Thanks for your good suggestion!
I think the problem you have mentioned are very impotant in the process of realization, maybe it is not soon.:-)
