Flecera - Portable Ceramic Cooker by Ismail Ovacik

Flecera, a portable ceramic cooker, is designed with the Ariston brand identity. Flecera aims to create extra space in the small kitchens. The unit consists two separate ceramic cookers, which can be hung on the wall both in vertical and horizontal positions. These separate units can be taken away from the kitchen and used in other places, such as in balconies…

Museum Plagiarius, Plagiarize This!

On Apr. 1, a new museum of counterfeit goods opens in the German city of Solingen, near Cologne. The Museum Plagiarius, housed in a converted railway building, will permanently exhibit 300 original products together with seemingly identical rip-offs. These items range from fashion and household products to electrical and medical equipment.

Jumo - Space Saving Lamp by Edouard Larmaraud

I like the idea of a lamp which doesn’t have the same shape when it’s on or off. When it’s off this lamp looks like a little box. And when you open it, the lamp lights up thanks to a contact switch. Compared to the other desk lamps, this one can almost disappear when unused.

The hallway pieces deal with the rituals of coming and leaving home where the idea has been to collect several actions such as hanging your jacket, scarf, hat, emptying your pockets, leaving your keys, resting the umbrella etc, into one object.

Duality Martini Cocktail Glass by Sprout Concept

Inspired by the tall slender look of a cocktail dress, the Duality martini glass retains its simplicity of form through its smooth feminine curves. The base widens to mimic the top, and includes side slits which gently peel open to reveal the central stem. The central stem is drawn from a blue tinted glass to add depth and extra dimension to the glass’s appearance.

New Breed Of Jaguar C-XF

More than just a show stopper, the concept embodies the look of Jaguar’s future sedans. The new design starts in front with a deeply recessed grille filled in with menacing black chrome mesh and a large centrally inset logo. This most likely means no more Jaguar ornaments leaping off the hood. Designers wanted C-XF to look as if it was milled from a solid piece of metal.

Kronos - USB Flash Drive Watch by Andrew Wilkerson

Kronos is a men’s analogue wrist watch that incorporates a USB flash drive in the wrist band latch. Integrating a USB flash drive into the wrist watch accomplishes three things. 1) Allows the manufacturer to capitalize on the popularity and functionality of a standard USB Flash drive. 2) Eliminates consumer pocket clutter. 3) Extends traditional usability by adding a practical function.

In a saturated market of premium and ultra premium Vodka brands, we created the next level of experience for consumers through our design approach that stirs up new emotional responses and connections. Looking at bottle design today, we felt that the premium and ultra premium Vodka beverage category deserved a more progressive design - one that would evoke emotion and push the limits further, while keeping in mind cost implications, engineering complexity and manufacturability.

Madrid Market Kiosk by Brut Delux

Madrid architectural duo Ben Busche and Isabel Barbas’ recent creations include this stylish, naturally rusted steel plate minimalist kiosk, for use in the Spanish capital’s temporary markets. With the country’s traditional food halls getting the starchitectural treatment - checkout the beautiful Enrique Miralles and Benedetta Tagliabue Santa Catalina Market in Barcelona - it is no surprise that the open markets were quick to follow up in the design game.

Urban Pooch Dwelling by Lisa Thomas

Urban Pooch is a pet brand developed by designer Lisa Thomas to explore the unique nature of urban dwelling dog owners. This brand specifically targets an urban, trendy market, while tackling the issue of dog owners living in compact spaces. The design has a personified “figure” form that has an elliptical base that fits seamlessly against a wall. This maximizes one’s space and does not interfere with the flow of traffic in the home.

Carpenter Block Mini, Countless Possibilities by SOZ

Based in Osaka, SOZ is a design company providing the Carpenter Block mini: a new art toy with countless possibilities. Carpenter Block mini is made from six different types of blocks and 15 colors. By putting these blocks together in different ways, countless shapes can be formed. It is also possible to make round shapes and curves, so in the same way as you can draw a picture using colouring pencils, you can create a 3D model using the blocks.
