I wholeheartedly believe that this is a cat’s world, and we’re just living in it! If you have a cat or two, then you know that they are the true masters of our home, and we are their abiding slaves, tending to their every need, always at their beck and call. They’re the apple of our eyes, and we would do almost anything to keep them happy and comfy, including showering them with cat-friendly products designs! I’m always trying to create a comfortable and interactive living space for my own cats – from a cat-centered table design that features a cavity and hidden shelf for your pet to perch on to a flatpack cat tower, I’m ready to invest them in all. 1. The Gatrimonial bed frame
What could I do to make my bedroom my cat’s favorite place? The Gatrimonial bed frame, made by a company called CatLife, made this dream a reality. They make furniture that doubles as an adventurous cat’s dream. At first glance, the bed frame looks like a hollow base with circular entrances in each corner. It has plenty of space for your cat to stretch its limbs underneath your bed. When you lift the mattress, it reveals an elaborate maze to keep your feline entertained. The frame also has two sections with a splattering of tiny paw-sized holes that could either be peep-holes or a little trap for unsuspecting paw swipes. Your ankles will not appreciate it, but your cat will love the hunt.
2. Float
Designed by Furmia, Float is a flatpack cat tower with built-in scratching pads that can be assembled in just a few steps. Amounting four levels, Float is a flatpack cat tower with integrated features like scratching posts and movable seat rests. Following a client’s specifications and criteria, Teixeira designed Float so that it would blend into any modern home. Taking on a Scandinavian-inspired overall look, Float achieves a minimalist profile through natural, unstained wooden rods as well as cool, gray felt cushions.
3. MeowMate
MeowMate features a 1080p ultra-clear video quality and HD voice intercom, allowing you to watch and hear your pet clearly and sharply. It also boasts real-time delay monitoring compensation to ensure a high synchronization between images and sounds. You simply have to download the MeowMate app on your smartphone, switch on the MeowMate device, and scan the QR code at the bottom of it, to connect it to the app on your phone. You can then control MeowMate on your smartphone, and move it about as you please. It allows you to remotely interact with your pets, and help stay connected with them.
4. The Two Circles Cat Scratcher
Designed by Jiyoun Kim Studio for the Korean pet product brand Milliong, the Two Circles Cat Scratcher is a part of Milliong’s Cat Furniture Project. The product comprises of two circular scratchers crafted from fabric and birchwood. The scratchers seem to artfully overlap one another when viewed from the front. The base platform and a ledge above it hold both the scratchers together, while also creating a snug hollow space that makes for the ideal seating spot for your pet. Both the platform and ledge are covered with faux fur, making it a truly comfy corner to laze about in. The Two Circles Cat Scratcher comes in two color options – brown and beige.

Originally developed for cats and humans to co-inhabit the same living spaces without compromising interior design, Three Poles Cat Tower maintains the same midcentury flair that defined its predecessor and strengthened the overall build of the tower for cats to play around without fear of falling. Speaking to the redesign of Three Poles Cat Tower’s earlier model, Kim notes, “The overall proportion was carefully redesigned, and the lower metal base was strengthened, so it could be harmonious alongside the normal type tower while being easier for short-legged cats to use.”

Nyanpeki is a modular climbing wall system for cats that boasts an easy assembly and removal process, complete with magnetized felt components that provide jumping spots and hideouts for your cat to enjoy throughout the day and night. The Nyanpeki, which translates to Cat Wall, from LIXIL Corporation is a modular climbing wall system that incorporates hiding spots and felt scratching posts for cats to play and rest for the rest of their days. Built for cat owners to create a unique playground for their cats, the Nyanpeki is formed from a magnetized assembly system that can just as easily attach to walls as it can be removed.
7. Miu
Miu is a minimal and elegant coffee table, that would fit perfectly into your living room, functioning not only as a stunning centerpiece but as a comfy nook for your cat. Something about Miu almost reminds me of a mushroom! A circular wooden platform serves as the tabletop, whereas the lower body is bulbous in shape and a warm chocolate brown in color. The bulbous body is hollow from within, with a little kitty-sized entrance. Your pet can easily enter the table, and snuggle up inside. It’s your kitty’s own personal den! A soft cushion inside the table makes it a super comfy space for your cat. The legs of the table are cushioned as well, and also quite stubby! They are so cute to look at.
8. The Petlibro Infinity DIY Cat Tree
The Petlibro Infinity DIY Cat Tree was built with the idea that humans have couches and beds, dogs have kennels, hamsters have cages with exercise wheels… but cats don’t really have any furniture that’s specific to just them. Sure, a cat is happy with just an empty carton, but that’s not really the model to be living on in 2021, now is it? Arriving at the perfect middle ground for both cats and humans, the Infinity DIY Cat Tree is a fun little piece of furniture designed to please your feline friend while keeping it constantly curious and engaged, and its Scandinavian-inspired clean design makes it look great in any home.
9. The Sio Cat Tree
The Sio cat tree keeps the same shape as a twin step ladder, providing a semi-enclosed bottom resting area and carpeted steps with connecting slings where cats can relax and keep a close eye on their humans. Constructed from natural wood, the Sio cat tree is discreet enough to fit into most modern living rooms and blend in with the rest of the furniture. The base of the Sio cat tree is wide enough to support the rest of the tower and resting spots, but small enough to fit snugly into a living room corner space. This table designed by Dinos for cat owners is handcrafted by local craftspeople from natural red oak wood to age well over time and remain a place where your cat can perch. The table’s rounded corners are also specially sanded down to ensure safe climbing and jumping for your cat. When you’d like your cats to join you while you work, the table features a center cavity through which they can poke their heads and see what you’re up to. In the center of the table, the craftspeople at Dinos carved a 16cm hole just above a circular shelf where your cat can rest. When your cat isn’t resting on the shelf, it can be used to store items like magazines or even cat toys.
