Doing their bit to resolve this issue, designers Daun Yun & Junil Choi have come up with the “Switcle”, the plug-point and the switch married into one! Dang, only one tiny flaw, you still need to remember to switch OFF.

We have disposable cups so why not disposable handles? The Clean Cup holder slides onto most disposable cups instantly turning them into a proper mug. You can even write on the neck so people know what you’re drinking and who it belongs to. But perhaps the most interesting tidbit is the offset design of the rings enabling one to securely hold their cup while manipulating a delicious cookie

I’ve spent a good month+ with Joey Roth’s Ceramic Speakers purposely avoiding all other reviews of it. I wanted nothing to influence me. I was steadfast in going with my gut. No cerebral analyses or intellectualizing what a modern $400+ speaker should look like. Sound isn’t tangible. You have to feel it to know it and that’s how I approached this review. These speakers enabled me to “experience” resplendent audio.

Made of flexible inner materials (aluminum or iron) and a little bit more flexible material (rubber or sponge), plus the outer shell of plastic. That’s a recipe for a good time. I’m not sayin this lamp is going to kill incandescent lamps altogether, but it’s gonna slay some of them I bet, for sure. It’s called the “Allure” and it’s a pretty amazing floor lamp. It looks like a fantastic set of tentacles. Multiple light sources from the same lamp – that’s amazing! Amazing! And not only that, but while the lamp base is meant to stay in place on the ground, the lamp post rotates. Excellent!

Besides it’s sexy looks, what I like most about the OXY Watch is that it’s unisex. Routine specs like Time, Date, Calendar, and Alarm are included, but what makes it stand out is its gorgeous E-ink display. It’s been conceived in several versions with stainless steel and colored leather strap combos, encasing a monochrome display with mineral glass. XKALIA Typography has been used to display the numerics, which really goes well with the styling.

A helmet that’s made to protect your head with the intelligent design of thousands of years of animal evolution. The armadillo (aka the Tatoo) has not one large shell, but many little plates for protecting it’s hide from danger. The Tatoo helmet uses not one giant piece of plastic and foam to protect the head, but many little ones, protection provided courtesy of EPP : expanded polypropylene.

For the public, the “New Amsterdam Plein & Pavillion” will provide info about upcoming events in the area as well as larger events in The Netherlands. It’ll also serve as a food an beverage outlet with seating on the outside. Feed and celebrate at this fantastic new landmark!

Dedicated to Phillumeny, the Phillu is a matchbox shaped portable memory storage device with matchsticks that have 5 GB storage capacity. Nine sticks in the box, essentially translating to 45 GB collective capacity. The trick is that you really need to light the sticks to transfer the data.
