Holy bajeesus did you know that there’s legislation that will be in place by 2015 in the European Union that says 95% of any vehicle produced needs to be recyclable? It’s called the EU ELV (End of Life Vehicle). In reaction to this as well as the last census of whiplash victims (2007 at 430,000 in the UK along) – this headrest has been designed! It has been designed to save us all! It is made to automatically adjust to your head at the same time as it adjusts to the environment!
What I mean is that the headrest is recyclable. It’s made of materials that can be broken down and reused or recycled, no glues included! Then by using a proximity sensor and actuators the headrest is always right behind the person, reducing the risk of whiplash drastically.
No more ouchies on the necks!
