Welcome to the NEW Yanko Design!

Update:  We added Full Text Feed! Subscribe, subscribe, subscribe! In addition we added the search box.

To our loyal readers, we heard you and it’s been a long hard battle. I thought the day would never come, but the redesign is finally complete! I would like to take this time and thank our readers for their patience and support through the years that have allowed us to grow to where we are. In addition, I would like explain about the core features we have on our new site. First, Design Commentators were added to give back to the design community by providing a link back to your portfolio site or any site of choice. By adding valuable comment, it’s only fair you should be awarded for your contributions. Second, we were years behind but we finally added RSS Feed to our site, see that orange RSS button on top right corner? Subscribe and rest assured no design will be missed. Third, we acknowledged that our posts are “timeless” in a sense that an exception design is exactly that – an exceptional design today as it was last year. We have added a number of random designs on every page allowing each and every entry to be featured timelessly to our returning and new viewers. And finally, on the footer of our page we added design tag clouds. Once again, giving back to the community and it features our top 50 most talked about designers. If you are not in there and would like to be, start sending us your work! We are interested! Just navigate to “Tips & Publications” for more details. On the final note, we get a lot of questions regarding who are the people behind Yanko Design and now you can read all about us on our About Us page. We hope you like our new site and we ask you please be patient as we perform refinements the feedback we receive from loyal readers like you. Please do not hesitate to contact us with anything using our Contact Form or leave any comment you wish on this post!

Best Regards,

Takashi Yamada

P.S There will be no post today, focused on refinements!
