Proceeds from the sale of these duvet sets will aid homeless shelters around the globe and bring new awareness to one of the oldest issues that plagues humanity.

You all remember playing with magnets when you were little right? Just for a little nostalgia, check out the Magnetic Lamp by Seokmoon Woo. It’s designed to look like the classic horseshoe magnet but it glows! Just stick it to any conducting metal (steel is of preference) and the rubber switch attached to the feet switches the light on. Arrange a whole mess of them for a dynamic architectural mural of magnetic lights.

Because of a fire’s tendency to disrupt a building’s power supply, Firefighters often lack enough light to effectively douse the flames. To help fix this problem, Duck Image co.’s Aurora hose nozzle uses an internal turbine to power eight LED’s that light up and refract off of the stream of water. This not only illuminates the direction of their firefighting efforts to other firefighters and victims, but makes for truly awe-inspiring Lightsaber flashlight battles.

I got my hands on Pure Digital’s latest camcorder, the Flip Mino and came away impressed. It’s a mini version of its bigger brother the Flip Ultra but thankfully quality has not been compromised. In fact quality is up in terms of build and video. At 640×480 pixels per inch, it’s not meant to compete with bigger and more expensive camcorders. This is for those candid moments when spontaneity is required. It’s small, pocketable, and easy to use.

Skyros is an aerial camera which takes unparalleled overhead photographs. Yuri Suzuki counts the headlights on the highway at 33.3 RPM. This little yellow car does only one thing: click the white button on and it runs along tracks of vinyl, playing the music it runs along as it goes. Tracks of vinyl? That is madness! Instead of race track for race cars, music tracks for Sound Chaser.

Some might see this design for the Pendant Light and say “hey, that looks just like a bag stuck in a tree.” I am one of those people who would say that, and so is the designer of the Pendant Light, Ed Vince, who looked up one day, saw a bag stuck in a tree and said “Hey, that looks like something that could be made into a lamp; I want a Bag Stuck in a Tree in my house.”

As oil reaches recording break highs, more and more people are turning to bikes to get them around and of course nobody wants to leave behind creature comforts like music while driving. Problem is most of today’s headphones are designed to filter out background noise. That’s not very safe for a bicyclists since hearing what’s coming is important. The Semicircle headphones are designed to fit in your ear without blocking background noise.
