Like any good pack, it’s waterproof, shock resistant, comfortable, and quickly accessible. But what sets it apart is a built-in 4000mAh solarcharger that delivers power to your phone, tablet or other electronic devices. Solar panels located at the top are always exposed to the sun while you’re wearing it, so as long as it’s shining you’re getting juice!
How it’s made:
The polycarbonate frame was CNC cut out of a sheet of 1/4″ thick Lexan, and bent into shape on a cold-steel bender. It’s entirely removable, which was a manufacturing decision to simplify the sewing process. Basically, the fabric skin is made of dual layer polyurethane-coated nylon for water-proofing and durability. This skin is stretched taught over the frame, and then zipped up around it, which keeps the whole system in tension, providing a tesseract of sorts for your laptop or tablet on the inside.
