Here’s the easiest way to make, store, and pour your Cold Brew Coffee

Designed to simply do one job but do it spectacularly well, the Shelbru simplifies your journey to the perfect cup of cold-brewed coffee. It comes lined with a mesh filter with holes as small as 25 micrometers (smaller than the width of a human hair), effectively filtering out every single coffee particle, so your cup of cold brew tastes smooth and silky, not gritty. It’s also so ridiculously simple to use, you don’t need a manual or even practice. The Shelbru’s design is incredibly intuitive to use and is made to give you consistently great coffee every time.

The Shelbru sports a 3-part design – a glass carafe that holds the water/coffee, an incredibly fine-mesh sieve that holds the coffee powder, and a lid that secures the apparatus in place. All you do is pour water into the carafe, add your coffee powder inside the sieve, and let time and the laws of physics do the rest. No making your own coffee bags out of sheets of cheesecloth, or using those reusable pouches that have microplastics in them – Shelbru’s fine-mesh uses two layers of filter to trap every coffee particle, so when you lift the sieve out of the carafe, all you’re left with is fresh coffee that you can pour for now, or store for later.

Cold Brew VS Iced Coffee

With its compact design, the Shelbru can sit either on your kitchen countertop or even inside your fridge. You can use pretty much any coffee grounds you want, and the cold-brewing technique helps infuse the coffee flavor into the water without the high acidity of heat-brewed coffee. The sleek carafe comes made from borosilicate glass and can make up to a liter of cold-brew concentrate (or 33.8 fluid ounces). The filter on the inside is made from stainless steel, while the lid uses BPA-free ABS plastic, and a food-grade silicone gasket to ensure a spill-proof air-tight seal.

If you’re a bit of a cold-brew aficionado, the Shelbru makes it incredibly easy to make and store your brew, pouring one out either on the spot, or chilling it in the fridge to have later. It’s reusable too, and can be easily disassembled and cleaned in the dishwasher (the borosilicate glass is heat-resistant). Touted as the easiest way to cold-brew your coffee, the Shelbru is available for $30 and begins shipping in November.
