Fascinating furniture! - Yanko Design

It’s nice when design teaches you more than design. For instance, today’s product, titled Mellom stems from Norwegian. Mellom means “in between”. The chair looks halfway between furniture and a Scandinavian hex-bot! The stool retains classic elements like the wooden circular seat and the wooden legs, but the metal structure in the center actually binds them together. My personal favorite is the way the seat looks like it’s levitating over the wooden legs. This one gets my thumbs up!
