On a flight from London to Chicago, I was very happy to note that my Business Class seat had a USB charging station. As soon as I hooked up my dying phone for some juice, the airhostess came to admonish me, saying that we were not ‘allowed’ to charge phones, the hook up was available only for multimedia purposes. Blah! Concepts like the Solar Eclipse are innovations that the airline industry could use. Give us charging ports people! We have Wi-Fi and Internet connections made available … so take the next step!

Are Solar Cells allowed according to F.A.A. regulations? I’m not sure.
Otherwise this is quite a nice brainwave.
* Allowed on Flights.
Thanks, “nope”.
this could be a standalone product also. Available at your in-airport gadget store. buy it and use it on flights, or in your house by the window also.
Reminds me of that idea of a solar socket stuck to a plane window. Seems the intake is too little to have any effect.
hahaha! what a clever idea this is! i love it!
Stop featuring such idiotic abstract non-sense. This is just words… no tangible design usability whatsoever. just a form study is shown… no concent for a flexible base to grab the rock?…
hank you so much for sharing this topic to us and it is wonderful.
The style of the outdoor lighting is also important because
they will be visible during daytime. A medium pack will
typically allow for up to three lenses, a selection of filters, and even a spare camera body
and batteries. Therefore, you should invest in high
quality bulbs from reputable manufacturer in this case.
