Get in the loop, hooks are out!

Get in the loop, hooks are out!

Loop is a minimal & playful expression of a modern wall hook that wins on many levels! The loop VS hook design is highly functional for hanging your fav things. The simplistic construction consists of just one thin sheet of metal or polypropylene, a square wooden body, & two screws, making it flat-pack ready & easy to ship. Assembled like a 3D puzzle, it gets the user in the creation process before being mounted on the wall. In a variety of unique colors, including gold, turquoise, copper, & more, it’s a functional, easy way to spruce up your entryway!

Inner Reflection Mirrors

Inner Reflection Mirrors

Eglė Stonkutė’s series of artfully designed mirrors are less about literal reflection and more about invoking the imagination. The first is an interpretation of circular waves of water held in static motion. The next is an extract from the legend of Narcissus with a swooping bottom that represents the river in the story. The last is a concave moving mirror that turns the mirrored image upside down similar to a view through a drop of water. Together, they encourage viewers to reflect not on the exterior, but within.

Easy Home Heating

Easy Home Heating

Mirage is anything but unreal. It’s a well-rounded approach to home heating design, and not just in the visual sense! The system aims to replace current inefficient central heating units as well as provide heat to low-income homes without any existing unit. Mountable on any wall, it draws in cool, mid-level air to heat before circulating it from above and below to create an invisible whirling mass of warm air. No unsightly controls or cords, the user can control it from the convenience of their tablet or smartphone, even while away.

With heat season right around the corner, it’s time to get the AC up and running for those hot summer days! However, the luxury of cool air also comes with a responsibility to be mindful of energy use. The tado° Cooling system is the easiest way to do it. It works with your smartphone to turn any AC unit into a smart device. Control your home room-by-room, turn off the AC when you’re gone and pre-cool when you’re on your way home… all from the palm of your hand. Watch the vid to see how it works!

Booby Trap For Dust

Booby Trap For Dust

Attracto is an air cleaner that uses electrostatic attraction to trap the dust on its surface and then clean it. The reason why TV screens, PCs and electronic devices accumulate so much of dust is because they generate an electrostatic field, which attracts the dust. The Attracto is designed as a glass circular device that is powered by induction. It features two rotating blades that clean the glass once the dust is trapped

Funky Outdoor Fireplace

Funky Outdoor Fireplace

This wild looking concept is at once a sculptural centerpiece and functional fireplace for your outdoor area. The modern wood-burning design differs from other fire pits in that it encourages people to lean on and touch its surfaces to warm their body while observing its internal spiral flame created by an air flow rotation system. The copper strips that fan outward are also warmed to provide heat to the user’s feet.

Double Door Knob Use

Double Door Knob Use

TIBOU is the first collection of luxury hardware developed just for kid!. The primary function of handles and knobs is to open a door or drawer, but kids often double them as a hanger to place their jacket or a bag. The object loses its main function and it becomes difficult even impossible to open the door. To account for this duality, all the elements of the TIBOU collection present a small hook on their front face, giving the child a perfect place to hang their belongings without hampering the opening of the door or drawer.

Freshest Air At Home

Freshest Air At Home

Inspired by the movements of a fish’s gills, the Electrolux Breathing Wall literally breathes in fresh air and infuses a relaxing environment at home. The wall mounted ‘gills’ are integrated into the home-space, transforming the area to bliss. Apparently the wall changes shape according to the air cleaning process. The Breathing Wall can be customized to suit individual needs through six functions; weather, memory, reaction, breathing, mood, and general settings by using a smart device app.

Room Division Done Right

Room Division Done Right

As urban living faces space challenges, this design team has a good solution to make most of the limited carpet area that your home may have. Cook&Bath is a clever construction and room division that allows you to make the most of the space restrictions. In a way, it eliminates an entire wall and uses a centralized bathroom-shower space as the room division. An interesting way to demark the kitchen, living and bedroom space!

Musical Stairs

Musical Stairs

Leander Angerer and David Ross’ revamp of this late Victorian staircase introduces subtle modern touches to accentuate the classical style. Tennis racket string sewn into the handrail replaces the banisters while a floating marble plinth replaces the first step. Other extraneous parts were taken away and hand-modified to give it a lighter, renewed aesthetic. Not only nice to look at, the strings can also be plucked, turning the house itself into a giant musical instrument!

The Island Kitchen Is Finally Here

The Island Kitchen Is Finally Here

Space crunch + kitchen has always equalled to a compromised kitchen. Realistically speaking, designer Massimo Facchinetti has nailed it with his Ecooking vertical kitchen. This single module kitchen is a hub for sustainable cooking. The technologies of the project highlight energy-saving systems, and come integrated with an internal retrieval of energy system. This is achieved thanks to the close proximity and interaction of appliances with each other and the exchange of heat and moisture.

Shower Power

Shower Power

Showering is supposed to be a catharsis of the day and of our daily environmental exposure. The last thing we should be dirtying up is our conscience with wasteful habits like using up way too much life-giving water. The “Sshower” for Roca was conceived by designer Marco Antonio Esquiró San Román for that very reason. With built in sensors that can automatically detect when you are actually under the shower head, this shower will turn of the stream and replace it with steam until you are ready to rinse off.
