Swing Your Club and Charge Up Your iPhone
Apple much? A device that might work on any “smart” phone, or if you’re talking to Wired’s Kevin Kelly, any handheld “screen.” Take a swing at power with the Handgrip iPhone Charger from our friend Mac Funamizu. Swing for power and plug in device to charge it right up

Just a little bit funky, like most devices devised by the Mac:
Swing this many times and you get some electricity to charge your iPhone. This time, its motion sensor sends your form data to your iPhone so that you can see your own golf swing animated.
And don’t forget to heed his warning!
Caution: Make sure you are not too close to anyone when playing.

“Charge” not a heck of a lot of charge but a nice little bit of fluf to move it into the green world. Golfers are insane, and people who try to buy gifts for them go insane, so this should do right well at christmass time.

This is a great idea and I know golfers would buy. The software that accompanies it is a bit of a problem though. On the one hand, I would want it to be robust and tell me how my stroke is doing. On the other hand, a powerful piece of software will drain my battery making the charging aspect less efficient.

Very nice, and clever device. I would better have a strap to prevent Wii in the screen.
