Another Way To Get Around
Nothing beats walking. You get fresh air, see the sights, and the much needed exercise you KNOW you’ve been procrastinating on. That’s why you need something like this unicycle transport by designer Regimantas Vegele. It works like an elliptical machine. You get on and pedal except it’s not stationary. Sure, little kids may point and giggle as you whiz by but who cares! You’re on the move, on the go, and doing it all while staying fit and healthy.

this WOULD work. go to google or better yet youtube and search magic wheel. its pretty much the same design but with NO HANDLES and 1 less wheel. you’ll be surprised. i was skeptical at the start but when i saw the footage i was convinced. magic wheel

Agree….. I totally agreed that this doesnot work. Why the designer have nit try to make it into prototyping stage to prove that it is workable?
Student work i guess, where perceptions always fun to play with…..

Too much fuss on something that is worthless.
Lately I’ve seen that design no more follows function, not even a drop of practicability, it’s just made for the internet.
Too bad that such a complex art as ID gets dragged into this pitfall, the same as graphic design did.

This is really cool… Very creative. Beats the Segway silliness: If you have the wheels inlike it’s simple. save and it’s called a scooter and costs $100! If the wheels are parallel it becomes complex, unstable and expensive.
This would force us to develop some good skills and get a fun workout. I want one!

Do the little wheels retract when travelling? If not, i can see a hella accident brewing and stitches to the face…. They must. They are not necessary when it is in motion… Is there a place online where we could see a real model of one of these in action?
