Lights….Camera….Perspektiva Lamp action!
Here is a brilliant (pun intended) idea from the minds of San Francisco based 3D and visualization studio, Transparent House. They took the classic camera housing design and re-purposed it to provide pose prompting light. This “Perspektiva Lamp” design is a great example of what I like to call “Design Flip”, taking ubiquitous items and reinterpreting their intended use for completely new ones. Maybe a slight alteration to this idea would be to make a detachable flash that is the actual light source and leave the camera as a camera. Just my thought.

As a photographer, I thought this was a dope item. Out the flash makes sense, but this wouldn’t be a practical purchase anyways. More of a conversation piece.

would be cool if you could twist the focus to allow different amounts of light out. so you could point the light in a more defined place.
