Stenop – Low Cost Glasses by Nacho Marti
Stenop are correcting glasses designed to poor people around the world with vision problems that can’t afford expensive crystal glasses. Glasses are replaced by rows of small holes using the concept of stenopeic vision. These holes have the effect of reducing the width of the bundle of diverging rays coming from each point of the viewed object. Just central rays reach the retina avoiding focusing errors. Stenop glasses can reduce 80% of myopia, hyperopia and presbyopia. The glasses are plastic made in one single piece and mass produced. They have a very low cost and can be heavily distributed worldwide around kids of poor schools. They are durable and can be done in different colors depending types of skin.

It really works, well it’s weird to use them if you are not used. But they’re good.
& it’s weird to use them on the street, the people think that you’re blind. My mother is using them to correct her eyes.
Anyways, as I said, my parent bought them 4 years ago… so this designer just made a bad copy! what a shame!

Dear newest,
The stenop glasses exists since long time ago, but they are made of expensive materials. So, this design try to make these type of glasses cheap and unbreakable. They are original, not a copy. Please, inform yourself prior to acuse people from copying. The designer

Great idea… Its the same thing as rolling up a piece of paper, or even squinting…Great idea for third world areas… These things should be handed out like food.

But it looks weird. Also, eyes vary, and best results would come through customization.
