Red Hot Desk!

ely_desk_1

Reminiscent of Design stalwart Luigi Colani’s fluid organic style, the Ely desk is more than just your average workstation. It’s bound to attract second, if not third and fourth glances.

Each detail is meticulously shaped with curves so fine that you’re never going to leave your desk. Ever! And with its glossy red-hot finish? Working overtime’s never going to feel better!

Designer: Roberto Corazza

Can I just ask if what are the materials used in this desk? Is this molded plastic or bent plywood? and also, how much is it? Thanks!

Luigi Colani’s fluid organic style? For me it is clearly a desk made for the Danish Panton Chair (Pantonstolen) by the designer Verner Panton in the 1960s. You should never be afraid to post you real reference Roberto Corazza! Next time take a picture of your desk next to the Pantonstolen (and maybe an updated wireless mac), it wold look awesome! Cheers and stay fresh!
