If you don’t want embarrassing alarms like that screaming in your face, then its best you quit that cigarette! In countries like India, smoking in public places is banned, but people seldom comply with the rules. This means you will find folks lighting up at bus stops, sidewalks and even parks where children play. Unlike Japan many countries don’t have designated smoking zones, so the only plausible solution is to have large smoke alarms that scream embarrassing sirens and chants, forcing you to put-out the stick. Saving you from passive smoking in the bargain! I’m all for the No-Smoking Alarm System For Public Spaces!

While I agree that it would be healthier for all if there were no smokers, if I were a smoker I would resent this deeply. Each of us has at least one bad habit we should get rid of, smoking is just one of the ultra-obvious ones.

If it was just a bad habit it would only affect yourself but it does not it affects the life of others around the us should have a prohibition for smoking

  • weshwesh says:

Smoking kills. Driving kills. Drinking kills. Wearing sneakers kills. Being American kills… Following the dude with his beautiful blue dress (Jon) we should have a prohibition for everything, let’s start with the stupidity prohibition…
