Retro Brick Phone

Retro Brick Phone

If we imagine a world without Smartphones, then it’s easy to picture this Just 5 Brick Phone by Art Lebedev Studio as a must-have. However, we do live in the world of Technicolor so a large-key, monochromatic graphics-display phone sounds a bit off. Or does it? Specs like retractable antenna, radio, alarm clock, flashlight, calculator, calendar, handheld meter, only one game – “Race” and mapping are nostalgic. The winner of course is the one-week battery power. Will you trade this for your iPhone or Samsung Galaxy?

Monitor Your Vision

Monitor Your Vision

Imagine being able to stare at your computer screen all day long without your glasses or contact lenses. A farfetched though for myopic folks like me, unless we undergo surgery; or we see the fruition of the i-Free concept. The idea is to have auto-correcting screen that portrays images according to the prescription number you have. This ways you strain your eyes lesser and it helps your vision in the long run. I’m all ears to know more if this idea is plausible; any comments?

Fool-Proof Perfect Lines

Fool-Proof Perfect Lines

Unless you have a guillotine-style paper cutter, cutting in a straight line is near impossible! The Linear Scissors, however, take the heavy equipment out of the equation and are so easy to use that premarking the line with a pencil isn’t even necessary. The solution:  handles with a built-in right angle that square up to the edge of any table, making it possible to cut perfectly straight. Better yet, the handle’s shape diverts the excess material out of the way while cutting. Genius!

Cruise in Classic Style

Cruise in Classic Style

Though it’s more of a day-cruiser than a full-size yacht, the Spearhead doesn’t skim on style or quality. The wing-stabilized leisure craft features classic wood detailing and a simple, minimal floorplan that makes the most of limited space. The more compact, sharp, and hydrodynamic shape make it ideal choice for those looking for powerboat performance with upscale trim.

Cube

Cube

Within architect Igor Sirotov’s bare concrete and glass Cube is a world just waiting to be brought to life by people, food, wine, and entertainment. The restaurant’s sexy interior is defined by tables and lounges that are at once sectioned and separate, yet open and visible to giving the atmosphere an elite, club-like vibe. At the center of the design are living water features and trees that contrast the otherwise stark interior.
