Sony Ericsson Plays Nice With Thumb Drives
You know, industrial designers seem to love conceptualizing what future Sony Ericsson mobiles will look like. Designer Vincent Palicki is just one of many but his design actually looks like it could be made today and fit right in with the SE family.
It’s a slim candy bar style phone complete with a big screen, standard SE key layout but touched up with stainless steel buttons. Yes it’ll do music, movies, text, email, blah blah and blah so where’s the innovation here? It would be the full size USB port, perfect for any thumb drive. Of course it’s not meant to have a “sore thumb” sticking out at all times, but it’s a way to transfer files like music, videos, and pictures to and from without the need of a computer.

Cool Designs..Sony Ericsons simply Rocks..
brilliant idea, brilliant looking, brilliant phone
SWEET! I ONLY HAVE CARRY TWO DEVICES I MY POCKET NOW!
Isn’t that one of the half usb ports?… the buttons on the phone certainly have to be re-thought. But very nice concept!
Nice! …and it’s about time Sony stopped putting that stupid MemoryStick port in their devices.
I like the idea of a USB port….but seriously something is really wrong with the kinda keypads SE is making….
Sure a USB port might be easier for some people, but I don’t have a problem with hooking my phone up to a computer with a wire and transfering files that way.
very cool. oh ericsson phones how i love you
The phone doesn’t look bad. I’m not a fan of the tiny round buttons, that could be improved and the for a phone to have a USB port is a fantastic idea.
Sony Ericsson Always one step head with other mobile makers as they introduce a usb port with mobile phone.
instead of making the phone’s UI more user friendly and more easier to us, you go and add one gaping hole to an other wise beautiful phone…. why would i want to plug this thing into my phone, plug it out and plug it into my comp again.. isnt that making it redundant and pointless… instead of minimalising steps… you add more to it… it should be just connect phone to computer.. computer does the rest.
If your computer isnt smart enough to detect your phone… than .. change a computer…
I had a teacher who would always say “Before you do something, ask yourself if there is a good reason why it hasn’t already been done”. My wife’s samsung takes micro SD. With an SD adapter already in a card reader, and even when it’s not, going from the phone to the desktop is not that big of a hassle. And the reason nobody has already done it.
what the price of mentioned mobile and which model? please tell me I want to buy one
which quality other information
Best Regards
