Tile is a clean, unique, playful, contemporary, and multifunctional LED lighting device. Because of its modular nature with the unique joints that allow the lighting units to rotate in both X axis and Z axis, it functions as a work lamp, a floor lamp, and a wall lamp. It can also reconfigure into a decorative lighting device that provoke the mood of the environments.

Ever wish you could untether your lamp and move it around at will. Be it a little party you’re throwing or just to change the mood. It’s usually more trouble than it’s worth. The Nomadic Lamp is perfectly suited for such a situation.

Luminos are bricks in darkness. Like a candle needs a fire to light it up, Luminos, which have light sensors and LEDs, need light to turn the LEDs on. This is a simple and intuitive interaction yet it has the possibility of complexity of a chain reaction created by configurations of Luminos like dominoes and bricks.

The brightness of this lamp adjusts easily with a turn of its shade. By consolidating the light source itself and the switch that controls the dimmer into one fixture, the lamp allows users to feel as though they’re touching light itself.

Created by two young Chilean architects and lighting designers, Ximena Munoz and Paulina Villalobos, the Anemix is a lighting system that creates unique 3D effects. Its a panel composed by a luminescent and a reflective layer, which can be modified to create a wide range of visual effects. It uses Osram LED technology to be the light source of this system, as its efficient, small and with a very low cost of maintenance.

Bronze prize winner of the Chinese design competition Soundbox held by speaker manufacturer 3Nod, designer Eric Zheng created the Music Vortex. A speaker system that produces vehement vibration of water via resonance. It works by having a built-in metronome which enlarges music rhythm to stable vibration and producing pretty ripples through the vibrating perch in the middle.

Corona is a solar-powered outdoor lighting system. It can be staked to the ground, attached to a wall, or simply placed on a table top. The Corona solar light’s solar voltaic cell transforms sunlight into energy during the day, and its LEDs automatically start to glow when the sun sets. It uses no glues or fasteners, making it simple to disassemble for recycling.

Design studio OutofStock was born out of a fortuitous meeting in Stockholm by four designers, Gabriel Tan and Wendy Chua from Singapore, Gustavo Maggio from Argentina and Sebastian Alberdi from Spain. One of their creation is the “Brick Bright”. Everyone has the experience of playing with Lego bricks as kids.

8AM is a task lamp constructed simply of braided electric wire. The flexible wire, once passed thru an aluminum clamp, undergoes a change of state, elegantly transforming into the structural body of the lamp itself. Following the simple construction method, the 8AM task lamp is also powered on/off in an elegant manner.

As a part of a collaboration with Ross Lovegrove (one of the world’s foremost industrial designers) and Kef (the world’s most technologically innovative audio manufacturer), Moving Brands was asked to create an audio responsive installation for the launch of the Muon speakers at this year’s Milan Furniture Fair.

Freedom of Creation is one the first design companies to specialize in design for Digital manufacturing. Digital manufacturing is the process of combining a 3D CAD file with, for instance, a laser sintering machine and as a result, a virtual electronic file is rendered into a solid object. Significant economic benefits, such as elimination of warehouse, stock, and assembly process, reduction in transportation costs and just-in-time production can be achieved.
