Water Ding!

Water Ding!

The CookDial is a pot with a timer dial at the end of its handle. You can leave a pot of water to boil, set the timer and multitask with other kitchen work, instead of keeping a watchful eye. A distinctive ‘Ding!’ goes off when time’s up, and I think it can be a useful when I make my tea!

Better Water Management

Better Water Management

In simple terms the Water Elevator is a bottle or water canister redesign. One that sports a flexible body, much like an accordion. Due to its flexible form, pouring out water is much easier, plus it has the added benefit of an integrated measuring system. So if your cooking requires 2 cups or precisely 4 oz water, you can pour out just that amount without any hassle. My only concern will be of cleaning the system….

Ergonomic Chopp-ing

Ergonomic Chopp-ing

I hate the process of chopping ingredients while cooking so I rely heavily on those German contraptions that you see on teleshopping networks. However there are times when I envy the kitchens of Masterchief and all those glossy tools and equipments that the participants get to use. The Chopp – chopping board looks fit enough to be in one of the shows. It’s a board with interchangeable functionality and features a hollow base to hold all the chopped food.

Smart Fridgerator is the mother of all smart fridges! It keeps the goodies ultra cool and conserves energy, but don’t they all? So what is the deal behind this concept; for starters, it has eyes! Yes two strategically placed pin cameras that keep a track of what is stored in each compartment, so that when you want an apple, you know exactly which door to open. Why all the fuss; to keep doors shut and conserve as much energy as possible. Also to make you look cool with a Jetson-esque appliance which features a touch panel, recipe options and smartphone connectivity.

Waterless Cleaner

As you might have guessed by the name, the Waterless Cleaner by Beata Patasiute is a waterless cleaning solution that uses magnetic microwaves to heat dipole molecules of food residue stuck on dishes. As the spinning head and flexible bristles remove the residue only these molecules are heated, so the dish stays cold and can be safely handled while cleaning.

Barbecues are as much fun as they are headaches. When the party’s over, the cleaning process and stowing away is always such a big problem. Inspired by the retro video game cartridge, we have here the Cartridge Grill, a seamless combination of heater and grill-plate. It promises to be as much fun with an easier cleaning process. The good news is that you won’t have to wait till summer for some BBQ action, this baby works all year round!
