Fold The iPad Or Double The iPhone To Get A Link
That would be my simple explanation for the Intel Link Concept Phone. Easy and simple, the idea exploits the benefits of smartphones, computers and notebooks and linking them together in a dual screen phone. As the twins explain it (Mark n David are twins!) “Link with a dual screen allows for unique interaction while being in constant contact with a partnering notebook, utilizing the notebooks processing power, hard drive and software. The hand set has back to back screens, offering unique scope of interactivity.” Sweet!

Unfortunately must say that I see no valid use case for this object, especially for the dual-screen. They pretty much described tethering and controlling the PC, a phone, and some powerpoint addition which probably could be already created (if doesn't exist already) using bluetooth.
In regards to the dual screen, I could see me getting confused in regards to which screen I'm looking at, and also I believe that with the accelerometers one can flip virtual screens on a single physical screen. Further, if both are touch screens, then I could see one pressing stuff on the "other screen" by mistake.
IMO this concept is pure fluff, a smoke screen if I may…

This is similar to a previous design, an i have the same qeustion here:
How are the computer and phone connected, because if they are connected by something with limited range like blue tooth, then you would have to take the phone every where with you in order for it to work, which decreases portability, not increases it.
Ultimately the design is pretty pointless because modern smart phones can preform just as well as quite a few netbooks, are the same size as this design, and don't require you to have the netbook with you for it to work.

well the probably, the phone doesn't need to be within range of the computer. link would be an app where you could interact with the computer through the phone and vice versa. that way, you don't have to take out your notebook to use some of it's programs, like when your walking, in a tight space or in any other situation where you can't take your laptop out
