Don’t Give Up The Stub
Unless you are one of those twisted minds that create art out of pencil stubs, the normal routine would be to discard them. But from now on, you can become a pencil stub collector. The 1 + 1 = 1 is no mathematical error, but applied to this equation: 1 pencil stub + 1 pencil stub = 1 long pencil. Really functional and awesome!

I would have a different oppinion. This for me is more simple and use less material, hence better in that sense.

Solution is OK. Like a little child i made the same one. But, i prefer luxurious one. One or two is for all life. Less material? One bottle of drink have more material. In my country people drink water from plastic botle. Same or even better watter we have in pipes. Peoples love life from commercials.

Pencils holders already exist. Now one could argue this design uses less material, I don’t know by how much, but doubt it’s that significant. On the other hand, a pencil holder doesn’t have the flow of being empty in the center so it’s awkward to hold the empty part of the rubber. It also can hold anything longer than an inch, while this one probably can’t. Did I also mention it only needs 1 pencil?
Now to think about it, this thing must be uncomfortable to hold and has a bad center of graviy for different drawing techniques.

once i glued 2 short pencils into a long one, they had the same brand and colour. No other added material than a drop of white glue…

This is good! But I don’t think it’s necessary to add another pencil at the back. Adding the design on a single pencil stub adds the essential length to it already. Personally, another pencil at the back actually looks.. unnecessary me. Still, this is a good design (:

I like the fact that the tool is stable and doesn't bend. I also like the saving of the trees. Artists keep this in mind. Especially the trust find kids that think they are artists and spend parents money. Save you parents money and conserve our planet. SHIT… sorry sounded good NOW
