The design is compact stylish and functional. The concept is solid; allow user remote wireless control of their music while allowing hand mobility alleviating the necessity of picking up, putting down, or potentially loosing a device. I would like to see a OLED flex screen wrapped around this puppy to give the user option of displaying different colors design or effects even though it may result in lower battery life.

It isn't real, it's a design concept. And when they came up with the concept (over 4 years ago) it was pure impossibility. You couldn't fit a bluetooth module in it (no one even uses blue tooth anymore, geez.) whereas now we'd probably just make it network capable, touch sensitive systems weren't good enough either (they are now)
Probably it has either been forgotten about or is just not forseen to be profitable enough

dont be do closed minded, apple snobs always get what WE want. maybe it wont fit in a ring(but then look @ the new ipad, we arent that far away from possible, but it will definitly fit in a bracelet and still look kick ass. tbh, if some1 knows how to program, the rest is easy w/ blu tooth and ctc machining(maybe not the touch pad buttons)

OK on the real when is this coming out i dont care where it’s at nor do i care about bestbuy but i would like to get my hands on this item even if it’s in japan i dont mind ordering from there at all.

  • Shel says:

Considering that they have blue tooth head sets with display screens that tell you who’s calling and the number as well as displaying text messages. This ring can be easily produced.. Now that the technology is available I would expect one to be coming out any time now.

Seriously? Please tell me this is fake. I mean how lazy have we gotten that we need a ring to control our iPod or iPhone? Because we can’t move a few inches and go to the next song or whatever. Wow..the world has become so sad.

It isn’t a bad idea…..I know someplaces where people don’t like to take out there phone cause then it gets robbed…..and u can always have different ring sizes at stores …..if someone has a different one then the can make a special order …… since its bluetooth it can go well with the wireless head.phones ive seen people have….
