Phiaton Bridge MS 500 Headphones Review

Phiaton Bridge MS 500 Headphones Review

Winning a 2014 iF product design award is no small feat. These headphones, like all of Phiaton’s headphones, are sleek and ooze with style. In lieu of flashy, colorful polycarbonate bodies, the MS 500 is made of metal wrapped in soft Italian leather. If Beats by Dre are for the hipster urbanites, the MS 500 must be for the kids that graduated that class a few years ago and are looking forward to something a little more sophisticated. My only gripe is they can get a tad uncomfortable after extended use. Hit the jump for my video review!

Not quite a sofa, not quite a bench.

Not quite a sofa, not quite a bench.

The Woodstick Sofa isn’t what you’d normally think of a sofa… or a bench for that matter! It’s a hybrid of both! Made of solid wood, it’s similar to a bench. Its shape and comfortability, however, were inspired by the internal framework of the average cushioned sofa and thanks to its highly developed hard maple slats, it’s just as comfortable! They’re rigid enough to support a person, yet just elastic enough to conform and flex to their body.

Are Those Pens Real?

Are Those Pens Real?

Nope, the entire bunch is a multimedia device that can scan codes to play videos, or show off pictures and create an interactive way of reading analog books in our digital world! The speakers of the system are visible at the bottom and function by revolving the cup. The cup holds the pens on the desk and recharges the multimedia pen via induction.

New Way of Looking At The Big Ben

New Way of Looking At The Big Ben

The Urban Sense is more like a pair of binoculars that reveal magical information about the sight that you are viewing. Designed as an interactive tourist guide, the device is a real winner in my eyes. Now only if it can add a camera function!

Future Urban Citycopter

Future Urban Citycopter

As soon as our personal transportation takes to the skies, this is what I want to be zipping around in! It’s called the Fly Citycopter- a futuristic urban aerial vehicle concept for when cars are a thing of the past. Harnessing solar energy, it’s more efficient and economical than common helicopters. Its tri-rotor design also makes it maneuverable and quieter with a smoother ride while features like auto-pilot and obstacle detection make it easier and safer to control. Aesthetically, t’s a little steampunk and a lot cool!

Cycle + Air Pump

Cycle + Air Pump

Inflator Bicycle is a cycle design where the frame of the bike acts as an inflator for cycle tire. This “always with you” bicycle pump is designed by putting inside the frame a connecting bar and a piston. You can pump in air to the tire by simply moving the bicycle seat up and down. The pipe and the gas nozzle hooks onto the cycle frame and it inflates both, the back wheel and the front wheel.
