Yes No Maybe Martini Glass by Michael Roller

Yes No Maybe Martini Glass by Michael Roller

Yes, No, Maybe amplifies the romantic subtext of the perfect martini experience. The design possesses qualities of nonverbal communication, giving the martini a body language and a sense of humor. An asymmetrical variation on the classic martini glass gives Yes, No, Maybe its character. Through its positioning, the glass can lean in or back off from another. When two people flirt, one glass can chase the other.

Luxus - Chair with Light by Christian Flindt

Luxus – Chair with Light by Christian Flindt

The chair is about the connection between physical movement and you visual perception of it. The light in the chair is activated directly by the rocking of the chair as if it was full of light water. If you vary the movement you affect the light in the chair. The light will inspire the user to change or try to maintain a rocking pattern – in order to affect the direction, speed or intensity of light.

The Other Half Vase by To22 Studio

The Other Half Vase by To22 Studio

To22 created a project to call attention to the delicate root system that exists in plants. Everyone admires the beauty of a blossom or the majesty of a tree, but how many times do you think about what is going on below the ground The idea began as a simple vase. The roots are featured, as well as the flower, in white glass that becomes increasingly transparent near the bottom. The result is a composition, which appears balanced and almost symmetrical.

Table of Trash by Marie-Louise Gustafsson

Table of Trash by Marie-Louise Gustafsson

A desk literally throwing itself into the waste basket. I like the idea of visualizing the cycle of trash and the possibility reusing trash in a constructive way. Material: Recycled paper reused in the material wellboard’ consisting of a craft liner and a corrugated cardboard in between. The material is strong, recyclable and very light weight. The whole table weighs only 4kg.

Ring - Wall Mounted Fruit Holder by Joung Myung Lee

Ring – Wall Mounted Fruit Holder by Joung Myung Lee

Hang your fruit on the wall. “The Ring” is an unusual fruit bowl made of porcelain. It is not placed on a dining table or on kitchen unit but hangs on the wall. The concept is between art and design. It is to be hang on the wall, like a decorative piece of art, a modern version of still life fruit paintings. Yet, as a fruit bowl, the ring is a useful design object, shape and openings are a new and interesting unit for a fruit bowl.

Petrarch's Bath by Simone LeAmon

Petrarch’s Bath by Simone LeAmon

Petrarch’s Bath is based on the concept of an Eastern style ‘sit bath’. Smaller in size than the Western bathtub, it is an intimate space holding less water, in which to relax and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of bathing with salts, minerals and oils. The design was conceived to service two distinct purposes: 1. Adult relaxation. & 2. Child’s bather. Petrarch’s Bath responds to contemporary bathing practices in the home, where adults are likely to seek the restorative and remedial advantages of bathing and where parents attend to young children.

Couch Counselling by Danielle Sobik

Couch Counselling by Danielle Sobik

A sleek modern form allied with a gray covering, the aesthetics of the sofa represents the lifestyles that we instantly recognize, modern and impersonal. However when we take a minute to sit down we discover much more is going on. As a couple sit apart on the sofa they are supervised when a cold blue pattern begins to grow around them. The blue pattern signifies their distance apart from each other.

Last Drop Martini Glass by Lee Fain

Last Drop Martini Glass by Lee Fain

The idea behind this concept is, good to the last drop. A dark blue “Gin Droplet” is suspended in the middle of the glass thus, enabling the user to have an eternal experience of the “last drop”. I wanted the glass to look like it was being attracted to the bottle. Raw material include tinted blue glass with a dark smoke gradient, 24k gold rim and a cap base.

Any of this sounds familiar: A stain on your freshly cleaned t-shirt, your girlfriend always takes the whole duvet for herself so nothing is left for you, and hairy bodies are just too much for you Our products are exactly dealing with those faux pas or delicate themes of the everyday life which we don’t want to eliminate but put them in a positive context. That way small mishaps and such will become a stylish and communicative element in your life.

Switch Candle by Seungyoub Oh

Switch Candle by Seungyoub Oh

Everyone has a fond memory of turning off electricity and lighting a candle. One can enjoy the mysterious yet peaceful and comforting ambience radiating from a small, flickering luminance that is often absent in modern lighting apparatus. A light switch in a room does not add any aesthetic value to interior design to the room. Switch Candle brings back the fond memory, adding not only to the interior design but providing a soothing ambience in the dark room.
