World Design Rankings

Welcome 2015, the world of design is awaiting your take on the future. Like Karim Rashid once said that he has learnt to embrace change from a very early age, we too should brace ourselves for change in the early part of the year. Syncing in with changes, is the A’ Design Award & Competition and along with it are the World Design Rankings. We are sure you’d be curious to know if your country is leading the ranks, so we have for you the list after the jump.

More details on the rankings can be found here. If you’d like to participate in the A’ Design Award & Competition, then more details can be found here.

The objective of the world design rankings is to contribute to global design culture via culture and highlighting good design. The rankings give an overview of the design potentials of countries worldwide by highlighting their creative strengths, design weaknesses and available opportunities.

Ten New countries are included in the 2014 rankings: Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Belarus, Sri Lanka, Norway, Cyprus, Albania, Qatar and Colombia. Top 10 remained the same compared to last year except for China ascending in the ladder from 8th to 7th position, which moved Brazil a step back.
