Mighty Pedal Power With Electric Help

Hybrid cycles have been around but they rarely take into consideration the elements. This makes their usage restrictive to fair weather. Slotting itself into the “commuter vehicle” bracket, the Emcycle tries to overcome this limitation by including a roof and Velcro-detachable side panels. Basically you can cocoon yourself and pedal or take electrical assiatnce to get you to your destination. There are three drive options ranging from AM (I have energy) through to PM (I’m tired!).

Shoe Fetish For NYC

There is a saying that one should judge a person by the shoe he wears, for they reveal his true status. The New York Urban Fashion Shoe (NYUF) is a step in this direction, but comes with handy technology to make it the perfect fit. To elaborate: the shoes are made from leather and subjected to preformed silicone treatment with heat (applied on Technic Fabric and Neoprene) to make them water resistant. The rubber sole is injected and its interior has a gel structure to keep your feet comfy.

It was the great philosopher Tupac Amaru Shakur who once noted the beauty of a rose growing up from between the cracks in the concrete of an urban sidewalk. Even though it might be in a place where it shouldn’t be, it makes the person who experiences it love it for what it went through to get there. It makes the experience of seeing that rose more fantastic and unreal than it’d be seeing it in a garden, by a whole lot, even! That’s what these fabulous benches are about. The fantastical nature of human creation.

It has come to our attention that a design, The Pocket Light by Hyun Jin Yoon & Eun Hak Lee (Ryan Harc), was stolen, produced and sold unlicensed under another brand. The team at Yanko Design does not condone such activities and urge all readers to boycott any pocket light they may encounter. If you recollect, this light-design had gone viral on the net and had garnered much attention from the online community in 2008.

Soap With No Suds

And you won’t even complain! Because this is Soap Light, a portable lamp serenading as a bar of soap! Fantastic! It comes with this charger base, predictably fashioned as a soap dish and once fully charged you can place the bar wherever you fancy. Using the touch interface you can switch it on-off but to dim or brighten the light, you need to rub the bar. I can picture elegant bars all over my room.

Noise Is Cool For Power

One of the places that suffers due to the decibels is the airport runway. Aircrafts really make some mean sounds, and the question is, should we let the expended energy go waste? Nope, we should not and therefore designer Hung-Uei Jou has designed the Green Noise, a device that traps & converts the sound energy to electricity for the runway lights. It features a conical speaker-form to endure the elements and the modular structure stands on a tripod base for easy maintenance. Neat idea, only if we could get some tech-specs to it.

It’s not called “Green” for the amount of green it gets rid of in your shower, but for the niceness it inflicts upon the environment. This “Green Shower” by Rami Tareef takes into account the amount the potential liters and liters of water wasted by showers and fixes it with this design using two very simple modifications.

Tracks on Train Tracks

Oh my goodness this is cute. The design you’re about to experience is called “Original Sound Track” and it’s basically a sound box flipped inside out and turned into a train on tracks. Set up your tracks, which have pins in them in just the right places, wind up your train car and set it on the tracks, and wowie! You’ve got your own little sound compilation! Made for kids, but who am I to say you adult figures can’t have one for yourself.

Just what you’d love to put your back on and rest up a bit. This is the type of furniture you’ve got if you’re awesome. Look at it! It’s a gal-darn porcupine on it’s side! On it you can sit! On it you can lie. It’s completely adaptable, and not recommended for cats. Unless you’ve got one of those hairless cats. But that’s neither here not there! Take a look at this chair!

We know the drill about keeping our beaches clean, but most often the problem is that we have these stationary bins placed few and far between. And people being people, may suddenly decide to populate a secluded section of the beach, where no bins are handy. Solution: Dustbin 4 Beach. It’s this streamlined bin that can be pitched into the sand and is portable. The tapered base digs deep into the sand for stability. Line them with disposable bags and place them where the public is today!
