Switch Socket
Neat name for a Switch + Socket system – One.One.Two! The idea behind this design is to give you a sleek multi-purpose socket so that you can use it to hook up the many devices you own, without going on socket-installation overdrive. The combo of course is of switch & socket, but what’s different is that it doesn’t use up-down motion to function; it uses a push up-down mechanism instead.

OK, I think I’m missing something here. What do those switches actually do, electrically?

On/Off, I guess. Similiar to those already existing sockets with a switch on the base.

didn’t someone already propose this? i swear i remember commenting on the fact that you would have to either bend over to hit the switch on or off, or have to deal with those cords coming off the wall from waist or higher level, not cool.
