Dream Machine by Microsoft?
What is the best way to fix the ill fated Zune “iPod killer”? Let’s start with cramming a mobile phone in it, then while you are stuffing it full of dreams, wishes and pixie dust, let’s shove in a mini-XBOX. Now we can take all three of those features, wave a magic wand, say “gibbidy gobbidy goop” and click our heels three times and we get nothing at all like this most excellent render from the fine folks at T3 magazine. One can only dream someone in Redmond reads T3…or at least Yanko Design.

Woah, woah, drop the Phone idea! The other features are neat, but for God’s sake, drop the Phone Function!
It didn’t work with the N-Gage, and the idea is still not commercially feasible.
That way you’ll save money on production costs and material.

Render not “that” great … And for this device to have so many multi-function, wouldn’t it kill the battery quicker? The thing with cramming “to many” into one device design will conflict with each other

The interface is too busy and cluttered. Back to the drawing board and get rid of some of those buttons! it’s like a button overload! Cellphone out is a better idea.

I like how Microsoft did it ten years ago, when they were just beginning to create mobile phones, pocket organizers, digital televisions, digital cameras, handheld computers, pagers…stick to the basics!

4 Questions:
1- Where is the phone? and is it a GSM?
2- What does the game media looks like? for how much?
3- Does battery life suck?
4- Can Redmond get rid of the ugly buttons?

I tested this camera for a client. I didn’t have the light running for more than 15 minutes. The battery lasted approximately 6 hours before recharging. The LCD, however, had a few dead pixels - never saw this before. Tried returning for exchange and had to put up quite a fight. Anyone else seen this?
