The Single-Level Avalon 32′ Tiny Home Keeps Everyday Living Downstairs

The bedroom in Dragon Tiny Homes’ Single-Level Avalon 32′ comes with something worth appreciating in a tiny house: room to stand upright. This built, available model puts its kitchen, bathroom, living area, and private bedroom on one floor. Across 269 square feet, the layout favors everyday movement over the extra sleeping capacity that lofts would provide. No ladder separates dinner from bed.

Built on a triple-axle trailer, the 32-foot-long home wears engineered-wood siding, finished in gray and green on the featured example. Its proportions remain unmistakably those of a towable dwelling: long, narrow, and organized around a central living space, with the bedroom and bathroom positioned at opposite ends. Those enclosed rooms give the communal area a clear middle.

Inside, white horizontal wallboards and pale cabinetry create a restrained backdrop, while natural-wood shelves and a green sofa add warmer notes. The sofa sits on a raised platform with open storage cubbies underneath. That’s a useful allocation of space: baskets and everyday belongings can occupy the furniture’s footprint rather than requiring another freestanding cabinet along the already limited floor.

A drop-down table supplies a surface for meals or laptop work without permanently occupying the aisle. The living area also includes a wall-mounted television and an electric fireplace, with a ceiling fan and mini-split air conditioner nearby. These are familiar domestic fittings, arranged within a compact shared room rather than distributed among separate spaces. The table makes the clearest concession to that compressed footprint.

The kitchen follows the same straightforward approach. An induction cooktop, sink, refrigerator, and microwave cover the essentials, though the featured configuration lacks an oven and dishwasher. Upper cupboards frame the window above the sink, while drawers and lower cabinets fill the run beneath the counter. Black handles punctuate the white fronts, and a small timber shelf provides hooks for mugs between the overhead cabinets.

Behind a sliding barn-style door, the bathroom combines a walk-in shower, flushing toilet, vanity, and washer-dryer. The photographed arrangement tucks the laundry appliance beside the vanity, keeping washing facilities within the bathroom instead of borrowing kitchen cabinet space. A window above the toilet brings daylight into this enclosed end of the home.

The bedroom contains a full-size bed with under-bed storage and a wardrobe cabinet. A shelf above the headboard adds another place for small possessions. More important than the styling is the separation: a proper door gives the sleeping area privacy without requiring it to occupy a low-ceilinged platform above another room. Dragon lists this particular Avalon at $73,850. Delivery is quoted by location. Its strongest design argument is simple: a small home needn’t make climbing part of the daily routine.
