Since notebooks tend to go for sleek and shiny, here’s an alternative for all you traditionalists out there. The S-series notebook concept is made of wood. Yes that’s right, WOOD. Nevermind the weight and horrible heat insulation characteristics of the material, it’s supposed to look refined and sexy, at which it does.

Apple today updated its MacBook consumer notebooks with faster Intel Core 2 Duo processors, 1GB of memory and larger hard drives in every model. The MacBook is just one-inch thin and features built-in 802.11n wireless networking for up to five times the performance and twice the range of 802.11g.

The VX2 is designed to give users not only the impression of the Lamborghini spirit but innovative materials and details are incorporated to make the notebook look, feel and run like a supercar. The sensational design starts with the signature colors of Lamborghini yellow and black with each one cast with aluminum-magnesium alloy and carbon fiber, respectively.
