With Click & Grow Everyone Can Become A Gardener

When Click & Grow became a part of the YD Roadshow in Chennai, I was both ecstatic and weary. It was a glittering night that had all the elements of a perfect evening. The trophies shone bright, the smiles were flashy and young designers sashayed the red carpet with the finesse of a celebrity. October 19th saw the unveiling of the winners of the coveted red dot award: design concept in Singapore. It was an honor to be a part of the celebrations and festivities and be in the company of such creative people. I had the good fortune to spend a good hour with Dr. Prof. Peter Zec at the red dot design museum in Essen. Over a good cup of coffee and exceptional pastries, we spoke about how designers today are dealing with the increasing global awareness of Product Design. For those who don’t know Peter Zec is a former Icsid president and today holds the rank of Icsid senator. He is also the president of the red dot GmbH & Co. KG.
