Fire Bombs

Love this clever design for a Fire Extinguisher! It has several water bombs – or balls if you’d like to call them that, which can be used instantly for small fires. It’s definitely a radical redesign that I’m seeing for the first time. Several tweaks to it and you can have a brand new take on how to put out fires!

Maybe the designer should have googled antique glass fire grenades. The tech has existed before. It was supplanted by the fire extinguisher and fire suppression systems in buildings.

You have to take into consideration that the grenade sends the fire suppressant outward from one point. The problem is that can cause the fire and any molten debris or fuel towards the user.

Current tech in firefighting tends to:

Smother through soaking like in the case of building fire suppression systems.

    or

Directional attack or combating the fire back to it’s ignition point or an area that the fire has already burned most of the available fuel.

Basically this flies in the face of the end user and lacks research. You would do better off just using a conventional extinguisher and calling the professionals.

It looks nice. Unfortunately, I think that my panicking might make it difficult to use. The conventional fire extinguisher is much more suited for my use.

  • its great new tecnology . Fire is so dangerous for every one . when it burn then every thing destroy . so like that in all office and every where we can use. its great and new . looks nice. Unfortunately, I think that my panicking might make it difficult to use. The conventional fire extinguisher is much more suited for my use.

    Designers are not inventors.
