I would place this beautiful lamp wherever I move around in the house: bedroom, living room, kitchen side board. I would want it where I can see it all the time.
Later on I would buy more of these lamps so I wouldn’t have to carry it around.

Hello
I would place it in the nook at the end of a hallway, on the (only) shelf at an optimal height, with nothing behind, below or beside it to distract one from the way it throws its light. Or I would walk around the house, looking for were it would fit best in relation to a horizontal surface, then place it and rearrange things around the light, most clearing away to give it room to breathe, as it were.
